Great fashion ideas

So lets be honest... I know we don't always wake up and plan the cutest outfits all alone??? Well at least I know I don't... A little help here in there goes a long way.  I have listed some great outfits below from casual to dressy that I think anyone can rock! Its great because I think these are all things that we have in our closets and great essential pieces and now we can pair them up several ways and make them work for us - instead of just sitting there! Hope you ladies get something out of this and enjoy!!!

I am leaving tomorrow for my European adventure so I will definately do a updated post! I know it took me forever to pack my bags last night because I had to keep it under limit! and that was such a struggle but I made it!!!!!

Have a great weekend everyone!

I Love this for any time of the week! such a cute and cozy outfit

I am into scarfs so I think pairing one with any outfit is brilliant

This could be a cute dinner outfit or going to work...

Nails......

So I am tired of boring plain nails. It was time to get creative. And I did this late last night as I was really bored!!! I searched for two colors to complement each other and this combo was really sweet and cute. I am going to change it on Thursday for my trip. And since I am going into the winter I am probably going to something darker and as I get more creative I want to get more funky. And wild with the nails. Nails are the easiest thing to get creative with, when it comes to your look. Because you can change it and go back the way you were very easy. Your hair, eyebrows, style ehhhh.... A tad bit hard
To go back and forth with. But I figured this can really be fun. Although I didn't do anything TOO crazy it I just me with a bit of a twist added to it. And it was fun. I have posted the colors below. I used a silver color called, birthday girl by OPI. And a light purple by Sally Hanson, salon collection called Delphinium. These colors are both new in my collection and I have not used them. So I am excited to put use to them now! Hope you all enjoy ;)

Get ready with me....

I personally love watching these vidoes on Youtube.... I think they are so much fun. I get great tips and ideas on how I can change up my routine or add to my routine.  Most of the videos on youtube are on fast forward and its tons of fun to watch.  I have not started doing videos and I am not sure that I am going to get into videos BUT I do love the topics that are covered in the youtube videos so I can do my blog version of them!

So as I was getting ready this morning I decided to take a couple photos of what I use and the final product... which is me! I want to do more blogs like this like Whats in my bag, Outfits of the day, Favorite products of the month, Products I regret purchasing. So there will be more to come really soon!!! I am currently really addicted to blogging and have lots of topics that I want to cover so hope its all interesting and good mixture of everything.

The first set of items are my face products....  So starting from the left ( and this is not the order I use them)

1. Mac finishing spray- I use this after I am done with my makeup and want to set it and have a fresh glow on my face.

2. I have 2 mac foundations that I mix to get the perfect color combination for my skin tone.

3. I have 2 mac studio fix concelors that I use the lighter one for under my eys and the darker one for acne on my face.

4. I have the Clinque pore perfector - to fill in my GIANT pores to make my face look more complete.

5.  Revelon primer.

6.  Urban decay finishing spray for Oily Face.... This product works wonders!!!!

These products are my powder and Mascara.... Now my Mascara changes depending on my mood when I am at the store.  I have tons of different ones but this is the one I reached for today.  Same thing goes for my powder. I have 3-4 different ones that I reach for but I am trying to use this one as my daily powder and my Mac one for special events and more of an going out product.

1.  NYC foundation powder- I apply this after I have applied my foundation and concelor

2. Mascara- Loreal.... I curl my lashes first then apply and curl again after- for a dramatic look.

After I am done with the Powder I use my favorite blush at the moment and I have recently been into hightlighting.

1.  Pink Blush from neutrogena... when I first got this I hated this blush. I didnt know how to apply it and it seemed too pink! but now that I am using the correct brushes and technique its one of my favorite blushes- and all I have been using for 2months now.

2. Elf - Hightlighter.  I am not sure of the acutal color of this hightlight- but it does have a small amount of shimmer but its still a great neutral hightlighter.  I apply this with a fan brush from Elf and it works great.

At the moment I am not that into eyeshadow for work.  I like the neutral looks and more into eyeliner.  I have not used my liquid liner today but I am obssesed with learning to use liquid liner and do a nice cat eye.

1. Mac eyeshadows - all neutral colors - I lost the names when I took them out of the pots.

2. NYC black eyeliner.

AND.... the final look!!!!! I do have my clip in extenstions in and I curled them and lots of hair spray!!!!!

Hope you enjoyed this.... Have a lovely day.......

Shoes.... A girl's best friend!!!!

I have found one of the best websites for shoes.... The search actually started when I wanted to find out where I can purchase Michael Antonio shoes online, because I had such a hard time finding them in stores. They are amazing shoes and last forever!!!! Great quality and I love all of his modern/funky yet elegant styles.  So I googled his name and this website for shoes came up.  Heels.com is the site that found and started looking for just his shoes.  I found that he has more than I even thought existed, I later did a general search within the site to see what else they carry and what the price ranges are.  This site carries a wide variety of shoes and prices from 39.99-299.99 and a great selection of designers and styles of shoes.

What I did was sign in with my facebook account and begin to create an account.  I made a wish list and added more and more to my list as I went along.  One of the many great features about this site is that you get loyalty points for each purchase.  When you register your order with Heels.com, your account will accumulate 1 point for every $ you spend. You can redeem your points at a rate of 15 points equal $1! So if you spend $150 in the store, you will get $10 off your next order! I think that's a great incentive to continuing to shop with them.  Getting something back when you are spending is always a plus.

My experience with them has been great so far.  I did goof up and order the wrong size in my boots but the great thing is they do free return shipping and you have no cost to you.  I simply put the other one back in the mail and I did have to pay in advance for my correct size but that's only to prevent it from selling out, as it was a popular shoe.  The customer service is great - they are friendly and really there to help with all your questions and concerns.  I have a very long wish list from their site and I have order a total of 3 pairs but I returned 1 pair.  But I can't wait to order my shoes - I am so excited to see what the different brands have to offer.

I have an issue with comfort and style- I love cute shoes but they always hurt... The next pair of shoes I am ordering is basic (fabric) solid black pump.  I have a pair that I currently have is very uncomfortable and for some reason I cant wear it for more then 10 minutes.... So I am testing out labels and styles and see what works best for me.  I have posted pictures of the shoes I plan to order in the next couple of months.  I hope that this review helps for those of you that are looking for ordering shoes that are good quality.  The site is trusted and secure and I have had nothing but a positive experience from them.

Dealing with break ups!!!!!

So thought I would do a blog post with a topic more personal.  I for the past year have dealt with a break up!!!!!  Dealing with a breakup is really such a hard thing and such a process. I mean you really need to put in the effort and time to be completely OK! BUT it is not easy.... anyone that thinks that they can move on over night is not putting in the work that they need to really heal themselves of the pain.  Relationships can be serious, not serious, long, short etc... but there is more than one day or couple hours of time invested in it! That means that there are hurt feelings and those feelings can be buried and put away in the closet but that's when you start to carry baggage and you never truly heal! We all want to make sure we are healed and we are doing the best we can possibly do for ourselves.  We only have one life to live ( yes, that is a soap opera) but we really do! and to waste it on a person that does not love us or respect us is not an option.... OR at least it shouldn't be an option.

Here are some tips/tricks that I have done to help me move on and keep me happy when I don't even want to get out of bed.  I hope that some of this shines some light on what you're going through or someone you know is going through.  Everyone is different and not all these ideas will help but it will shine some light on the situation and show you that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. THERE IS ALWAYS A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL.

  • Gym- you want to keep some kind of routine with working out.  When I found out that my ex had a new gf, I flipped my lid and then I joined the gym. The moment that I stepped into the gym I really felt a great energy and a vibe that made me feel included and motivated.  The gym gives you a new outlook on your life, it gives you a energy that you need when you're going through a breakup.  You start to look better and feel better and little by little and before you know it you have a routine that you can't break.
  • New Routine- You are newly single and you are not use to being alone.  Adding the gym in your routine will help you change your train of thought.  Having different things to keep you busy is very important.  Keeping yourself busy is very important, and the more things you got going on in your life the less time you will have to worry and wonder about things in your past.
  • Positive Friends- You want to surround yourself with people that are positive and have good morals and values that you can learn from and grow from. You want people with the same interest and the same goals. You don't want people that are going to hold you back/give you bad advice.
  • Being social-  Even though you really don't want to go out and be around people.... the trick is to just do it. You don't want to over do it but you don't want to under do it either.  You need time to grieve your loss and then you need to come back to life.  You cant separate yourself from reality and those that want to be around to help you.  Everyone one needs "their alone time" BUT too much of anything is bad and you want to keep a good balance in life.  Going out little by little will help you make new friends and feel normal again as hard as it will seem at first and such a big effort to leave your room and your pajamas even! but making the effort will help the healing process.
  • Cut the connection cord- We all know that relationships have a lot of back and forth! We are all guilty of doing it -BUT its very, very important to make sure you cut connections and ties to your ex in order to move on and start to heal! The worst feeling in the world is becoming strangers and drifting apart (that was for me) but the sooner you let go the sooner you can heal.  You have to be smart and know when enough is enough... Think only of yourself at that point and make sure that you do what is right for you and how you feel! When you have broken up there is no connection holding you to that person and you are no longer responsible and neither are they.
By doing these few simple things I think it will really help you see that everything will be OK at the end of the day.  Dealing with heartache is the hardest thing to understand and fix, it all takes time. They say it usually takes half the time you spent with the person to get over them. Not true in all cases and situations but can happen.  Speaking from experience you want to end things and not drag it on because once the other person moves on and you see it, it will hurt! and you want to have your own thing going on and not be sitting around thinking and wondering about that person and what they are doing. It has been a long, long, road for me and has not been easy but I have learned to deal and be positive.  Whatever I put out in the universe is what I am going to get back in return. Learning that its time to let go of all hope and chances of making it work is a hard idea to swallow.... but once you are there and you are open to new and wonderful things you will look back and be so happy you let go! The accepting the fact that you have to let go is the hard part and then to actually do it is harder. But I now see and understand things so much more clear and am open to what happened and why it took me so me so long to get where I am today.  I was not open to the advice that I listed above... I was sitting in the hurt and not working on getting over it.  But like I said everyone works differently and at their own paces.

I hope that this helps some of you to understand and work through your struggles.  I have listed some books  that helped me and some that I still read.  Self -help books are great and they really can give you a sense of understanding from a neutral place.  Check them out.

Must have!!!!
