New Series... Gym Diaries

Good Morning Everyone...

I have decided to take a new turn to my blog and incorporate more of my fitness and workout testimonials here.  One thing that I have been wanting to do is write about my journey and document it as it happens... I have been trying to come up with a  creative way to link this blog to what I have going on in the outside world and I feel that my fitness goals is that link.

Since joining Herbalife I have noticed that I have a new sense of direction and a commitment to something that is just for ME!!! Something that no one can take away from me and that is the health and well being of my body.  This is more that just Abs, nice booty or toned arms.... this has become about being healthy and fit. Being able to run and not get so tired that I feel like death! To be able to do a push-up and not struggle to the point that my arms are going to fall apart on me.

This may seem so simple but try 10 REAL push-ups and lets see how it feels? Understanding that it is 100% your body weight that you are pushing up and down.  This seem super simple but it takes time and work to get the correct form and posture in doing these workouts correct to ensure that you get the best results.

My Challenge!!!!!!! - My New Goal......

So what I have decided is that  I want to start running.... I want to become a runner!!! I always wanted to run and thought that it was the best stress relief and best full body workout!!! I know that running burns everything so I really have a double mission of building my butt and burning all my fat at the same time.  This means that I will have to do cardio on leg day as well!

After speaking to tons of people about this process I understand that it can happen. And if I continue this as a joint effort then I know that I wont have to start from the bottom and work my way back up.
I am on week 2 of my Fasted Cardio and I am doing that on Tues, Thursdays, Saturdays and some Sundays.  This is so that I can burn more calories and the right calories in my cardio workouts.  I am super proud of myself for starting this journey and I will be posting more updates and pictures and hopefully encourage some of you to join me in doing this personal challenge.

xoxo
